CAPRICORN
 The
sign of Capricorn - general presentation
It
is the beginning of winter when days are shorter than nights. Nature hibernates
and the ground seems as hard as a rock. But this seeming decrease of evolution is an invitation to
focus on our inner
spiritual evolution. That is why, esoterically speaking, this sign represents the
"gate"
which souls use for getting out of the physical world. The opposite sign, which
is Cancer,
represents the "gate" human souls use for entering the material world. The sign
may be
associated to a goat climbing up a mountain, in order to show human beings their need
for evolving. In a birth chart, Capricorn represents detachment, ambition, and
evolution.
The native Capricorn
The
position of the Sun enables perseverance, ambition, and unexpected resources. The
natives are able to work all by themselves for an unlimited time, almost in any
domain. They do not need to be motivated, since activity and usefulness are
their real
reasons for any action. They are organized and able to organize anything. They
aim for important social ranks, not for the sake of it but because they are
extremely ambitious. Generally, they desire to achieve something important
because they do not like being average people. They seem cold and rough. Even if they hide behind a mask of materialism, they
have this attitude in order
to become perfect. They are real maniacs of perfection and do not want to have any
flaws. But they sacrifice their feelings and esthetic talents for accomplishing
perfection.
They are very intelligent, but have a stiff thinking. The road to a Capricorn's
heart is long, but in the end we find a rare sensibility. They tend to be
melancholic and introverted.
