THE SIGN OF GEMINI AND ITS DECANATES
|
Not all natives of the same sun sign can be
characterized as a unit by the general characteristics of that sign. There are
some divisions and subdivisions, each with its characteristics who give much more
particular personality traits to the native of a sign. The most important
division is the decanate. Among the 30 degrees of each sun sign, each decanate of the
three has 10 degrees. |
Decanate 1 -  
- Degrees 1-10 of Gemini, corresponding to May 21st - 31st.
- Rulers: Mercury as ruler of Gemini and Jupiter as
specific ruler of the decanate.

- Characterization:
Joyful, optimistic, fine intellectuals. They
let the impression of being successful and lucky. But they are not lucky,
on the contrary.
- Tree zodiac:
Ash tree is a magic tree, characterized by key words:
clear-sightedness, difficulty; exigent; the native either does what he likes or he does
not do it at all; he knows what he wants, he is generous, constant,
intuitive; destiny, fantasy, and fidelity.
- Karmic:
The goal of the incarnation is to develop
intellectually. During a former life, he may have been a very wealthy
person and this lifetime he must rely on his own ideas and to be useful for other
people.

- Characterization:
He is dedicated to ideals and therefore, he needs
strong opinions and fidelity. He has rigorous opinions, sometimes close to
obstinacy without any logic; he treats other people ironically and that helped
him keep his own way in order to fulfil his ideals, more or less
aware.
- Tree zodiac:
Ash-tree, with its artistic nature, is characterized by
the following key words: cold, sophisticated, despiteful, perfectionist,
famous, undecided, conservative; he sacrifices traditional moral value; classical; arts-oriented.
- Karmic:
The most important goal is to accomplish his
ideal. But this is not a definite theme for learning a lesson which has some
feminine characteristics as subject; lack of vacillation.

- Degrees 21-30 of Gemini, correspond to the period June 11th - 20th.
- Rulers: Mercury as ruler of Gemini and the Sun as specific ruler
of the decanate.

- Characterization:
They consider they are enough well-read and they
are always right. In case someone contradicts them, they may become
authoritarian and almost aggressive. But they can prove they are smart
when they are allowed to think thoroughly about something. Then, they become
very rational. Usually, they do not accept half-measure situations; they keep
distant from anything that is unreal.
- Tree zodiac:
Fig tree - a practical nature; it is characterized by
key words: strong personality, sensitivity, need for human warmth;
family-oriented; temptation, good will, and fragility.
- Karmic:
The main goal of the incarnation should be the
study of esoteric science and of parallel worlds; they try to explain this
with the help of already famous fields of science. But their ego and their "blind"
confidence in the power of their mind may become a trap.
