 The sign of Leo -
general presentation
It represents the entire life, the ripen of fruits, the
decissive age of determination. It also represents the human possibility of
fighting against any obstacle, as Hercules did when he fought the lion of
Nemeea: he had the right skills and he used them. In the birth theme, it emphasizes
human abilities to create a personality and to lead his own destiny. It is the
sign of spiritual enlightenment and of the divine light; it represents the Father, the
creator of life. For that reason, ancient Egyptians associated it with God Ra -
the Sun.
The native Leo
He is the leader, the one who organizes and imposes, the one
who knows
exactly what he wants and how to express his will. He creates a strong sense
of dignity, honour, courage, and pride. He has the skills of organizing and
dramatizing, he inspires loyalty, trust, and joy. He is the leader who
threatens but does not use violence, because he considers himself too much
evolved to do that.
