LIBRA AND ITS DECANATES

   

Not all natives of the same sun sign can be characterized as a unit by the general characteristics of that sign. There are some divisions and subdivisions, each with its characteristics who give much more particular personality traits to the native of a sign. The most important division is the decanate. Among the 30 degrees of each sun sign, each decanate of the three has 10 degrees.

Decanate 1 -

• Degrees 1-10 of Libra, corresponding to the period September 23rd - October 2nd. 
• Rulers: Venus as ruler of Libra and the Moon as specific ruler of the decanate. 
• Constellation: Serpens

• Characterization: They are not such comfortable partners because they think too much, even though it is about a simple and obvious situation. They do not arrive to an end on the spot because they do not confide in their own force and skills. Thus, they consider life as a continuous probing.  
• Tree zodiac:
  Olive-tree, for a single day - key words: wise, pacifist, discrete, seemingly indifferent, kind and tolerant, intelligent; a good psychologist.
  Almond-tree, a magic tree, characterized by the key words: magic charm, adaptability, activity, understanding, tolerance or wickedness; very kind or very evil, enigmatic; shrewd. 
• Karmic: They must learn two important lessons: to confide in their own skills and to be sensitive (a feminine feature).

Decanate 2 -

• Degrees 11-20 of Libra, corresponding to the period October 3rd -12th.
• Rulers: Venus as ruler of Libra and Saturn as specific ruler of the decanate. 
• Constellation: Draco
  Key word: independence
• Characterization: Sensitive, slightly pessimistic, the native may be harmed very easily; he has an acute sense of reality. He will fulfil his goals later in time, as a reward for his fidelity. That will make him happy. He is kind and does not stand any type of authority.  
• Tree zodiac: Service-tree, a magic tree, characterized by key words: power of thought; misunderstood, sensitive, gentle, adaptable, narcissist, responsible, honest, naive but very intelligent. 
• Karmic: He must pass the test of fidelity, not only with his partner but also with his own principles of life. In a previous life, he had achieved too much and now he must gain everything with the help of his less obvious quality - fidelity. 

Decanate 3 -

• Degrees 21-30 of Libra, corresponding to the period October 13th - 22nd.
• Rulers: Venus as ruler of Libra and Jupiter as specific ruler of the decanate. 
• Constellation: Lupus
  Key word: expiation
• Characterization: He has literary and artistic talent, he is extremely sensitive, kind, and unselfish; a suspicious person. Generally, he fulfils his financial status. He is a good business negotiator due to his charm.  
• Tree zodiac: Maple-tree, characterized by the following key words: tidy, fashionable, vigorous, a good listener; vanguard ideas; cynical, scandalous, self-educated, skilful, rather lazy, and lucid.  
• Karmic: He must learn to communicate with other people, to be diplomatic, kind but also to manipulate. Besides all these characteristics he must be fair and righteous.
